Risk disclosure

Know the risks before you pick a side.

Perpetual futures are high risk and can lead to rapid losses. Meme-coin markets can be illiquid or manipulated. Paper trading only — no real funds. Not available in restricted jurisdictions. Not financial advice.

This is paper trading

Flipside currently runs on simulated prices and a paper balance of 10,000 USDC. No real funds are deposited, traded or withdrawn, and nothing you do here creates an on-chain transaction.

Simulated results can differ a lot from live markets. Fills, slippage, funding and liquidations here are modelled, not observed.

Perpetual futures can lose money fast

A perpetual future is a contract that tracks a token price with no expiry. Leverage multiplies both gains and losses: at 3×, a 10% move against you is a 30% loss on your margin.

If the mark price reaches your liquidation price, the position is closed automatically and the margin on it is lost. This can happen within seconds.

Isolated margin

Every position uses isolated margin. The most you can lose on a position is the margin assigned to it, plus fees and funding already paid. Adding margin moves the liquidation price further away but puts more at risk.

Funding

Funding is a periodic payment between longs and shorts that keeps the mark price close to the index price. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts; when negative, shorts pay longs. Funding can add up over time.

Meme-coin markets

Newly graduated meme coins can be thinly traded, highly concentrated among a few wallets, and prone to sudden moves in either direction. Prices can be moved by a small number of trades.

Passing a listing check does not mean a token is safe or will hold value. Tiers, caps and listing status can change at any time, including making a market reduce-only or pausing it.

No advice, no promises

Nothing on Flipside is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Scenarios such as the $100M Challenge are hypothetical illustrations, not predictions. Past paper results do not predict future returns.
